~ Float riders and walkers MUST arrive at either the Medical Center on Hwy 16 north of Wendy’s or at Safari Miles. The pathway between the Medical Center and N. Pilot Knob will have been mowed. These areas will be designated as DROP OFF AREAS and are intended for that use only. If you have a large group of participants please designate another area for dropping off to avoid any traffic tie ups as we have experienced in the past. Perhaps meeting at Walmart or Harris Teeters parking lot would be more efficient to gather your group together and then follow the signs to the Parade staging area at Salem Methodist Church on Pilot Knob Road.
~ Unloading of passengers will NOT be allowed on N. Pilot Knob Road.
~ Please report to the staging area on N. Pilot Knob no later than 11:15 Public Parking is available at the Medical Center.

~ Nothing should be left at the staging area once the parade has begun (purses, instrument cases, coolers, trash, etc.). Please take your trash with you or dispose of it in one of the trash cans at Salem Methodist Church.
Greg Smith of ELBA will be heading up the judging process this year. Judging will be done during the parade from the Judges platform situated at CDM Photography at the halfway point of the parade. To ensure you get judged, we request that each entrant have their entry number as part of their banner highlighting your organization, as the judges scoring considers banners. Trophy winners will receive a telephone call and/or an email within 24 hours of the end of the parade. You will be invited to join the parade committee at the Parks & Recreation Center located at 8086 Optimist Drive, Denver, NC 28037 on Tuesday, December 5th at 6:00 PM to be presented with your trophy.
